COLT RAILWAY
Marty Paten has finally finished the Columbia
Branch Railroad website. He included a section on NARCOA. You can access
the site at columbiabranchrailroad.com I included three photo's. There is information purchasing his new book on the COLT which also has pictures and information on our past motor car trips on the line.
ANNUAL MEETING!!
Our annual First Iowa Division meeting and potluck meal is scheduled for April 7th at the Colfax Historical Building 1/2 mile south of the I-80 Colfax Hwy 117 interchange on the east side of the road. This is a new location for the meeting. We will meet beginning around 10am with the meal at noon and the meeting following. FID will provide the meat, drinks, and table service. Please bring a side dish or dessert. If you bring something that requires being hot, it should be in a crock pot as we won't have access to the kitchen appliances. Come early to visit with others!
