OCT. 6-8, 2017 - BLACK HILLS CENTRAL RAILROAD - HILL CITY, SOUTH DAKOTA
Friday: Set on begins immediately after departure of the afternoon train. We will depart immediately after the return of the train around 3:30 for a round trip to Keystone. We may have a second set on and round trip that evening depending on schedule and weather.
Saturday: We will have four round trips and will be following the steam train during the third and fourth trips so we will have a tight schedule. We will have a 'bring your own lunch' Saturday noon at the Oblivion siding. Also hoping to have extended time at Keystone on our last trip of the day on Saturday. Some have expressed an interest in riding a couple times and then sitting out the rest of the day. The railroad said they'll have a track you can store your car out of the way while you're gone so we should be able to accommodate those requests.
Sunday: We will have one round trip in the morning and will set off after departure of the morning train. We should be cleared by around 11 am.
I am also requesting that you send the trip payment of $80 to me so I can take care of paying the railroad fee. Please make payments out to First Iowa Division and mail to Dave Voeltz at the address listed below.
